Chinese Fast-food Restaurant Has Landed in Australia and Foreigners Are Dipping into Their Own Pockets for DND

Jiangsu Da Niang Dumpling Co. Ltd. (DND), one of the top ten famous brands of Chinese fast-food companies, has opened its first restaurant today in China Town Sydney.
Du Wei, Chinese Vice Consul General in Sydney, and Huang Zhaoqiang, MP of New South Wales as well as other celebrities in Sydney cut the ribbon and delivered speeches for the opening of this DND restaurant.
With lion dance and deafening firecrackers, the opening ceremony was really warm and exciting. More than 200 celebrities from the political and business circles and associations of overseas Chinese were present and huge crowds of people witnessed the event.
Chinese dumplings, with a long history and rich variety, are well-known around the world. Da Niang Dumpling, with its headquarters located in Changzhou, Jiangsu, China, is the leading company in this field. DND now has more than 100 chain restaurants scattered in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Shangdong, Jiangxi and Indonesia, with a yearly sales volume of over 300 million Yuan.
When interviewed by the correspondent, Wu Guqiang, Board Chairman and General Manager of DND, introduced that dumplings, the traditional food loved by Chinese, are the staple food chosen to be served in DND restaurants. DND has adopted the concept of foreign fast-food restaurants, and is committed to more competitive price, higher quality, better management and world fame.
About 100 kinds of dumplings are served by DND and 3 new kinds are provided per month. With the change of seasons, about 10 kinds of dumplings are served every day. In DND Sydney restaurant, besides dumplings, steamed buns, fried dumplings, hand-pulled noodles, hot soup and cold dishes are also served.
According to Wu Guqiang, the taste of western people is more or less the same. The success of DND in Australia will accumulate useful experience for Chinese fast-food restaurants to step out of China and advance into the western countries. Soon after, the second, and the third DND will appear in Australia. And in the very near future, DND will be found in America and Europe.
